    Pharmacy Program Specialist - Kadlec Regional Medical Center - Richland, WA

    Leads the implementation, maintenance and compliance monitoring of the 340B drug purchasing program. Responsible for monthly reporting on savings opportunities, split billing software maintenance and all areas of program compliance. Under the direct supervision of the Regional Director 340B Program, maintains the mapping of the split billing software platform, works to ensure 340B drug purchases maximize pharmaceutical cost savings and works in conjunction with Patient Financial Services to investigate, correct, and modify any billing NDC discrepancies and pricing issues.

    MAJOR CHALLENGES:

    • Process and review large volumes of information on a daily basis with a high level of accuracy.
    • Ability to understand and troubleshoot the multiple complexities of pharmacy charging and billing in the Epic system

    Shift Details:

    • Full time, Day Shift, 40 working hours weekly

    Required qualifications:

    • H.S. Diploma or GED.
    • Upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License.
    • Minimum of 3 years (> 6240 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and PTCB certification, OR
    • 4 years (> 8320 hours) experience if technician does not have PTCB certification

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Coursework/Training: Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians
    • Coursework/Training: Sterile compounding (and hazardous drug) coursework
    • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
    • PTCB certificate in Hazardous Drug Management
    • Specialty certification (e.g. ACPE approved sterile compounding certification) where applicable by role and state
    • Oncology experience, hospital work experience base

The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
