Job Summary and Qualifications
Oversees pharmacy campus operations, programs, transitions, and activities consistent with the pharmacy directors and Senior Leaderships objectives.
Essential Accountabilities:
• Establishes objectives to accomplish departmental and hospital goals. • Supports the financial management for the area. • Manages departmental operations to ensure the area meets or exceeds the expectations of customers. • Oversees the management of the flow of pharmaceutical products and staff between all pharmacy service campuses to ensure processes are efficient and effective in meeting departmental goals and objectives. • Provides pharmacy service leadership through people who have a direct impact on the departmental and hospital area of responsibility. • Participates in leadership growth and development.
Qualifications
Required Education: • Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy • Preferred Education: Masters Degree
Required License: • Licensed Pharmacist • BCLS may be required for those leaders providing patient care
Required Experience: • Five years of hospital technical and managerial experience in pharmacy • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, Internet, and Intranet software, e-mail
