Pharmacy Manager - Marcum & Wallace Hospital
Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The Manager Pharmacy Services will be responsible for and manage supply chain services offerings including but not limited to account price parity assurance program, contract price verification program, and failure-to-supply surveillance. The position will manage a team of coordinators, develop standard procedures, and provide analytical reports to members. The role will be required to develop and lead team functions in business services, communications, technology, and analytics with final offerings to both internal stakeholders and external members. The manager participates in the pharmacy supply chain program team's strategic planning, preparation, and report development. Promotes quality improvement, process optimization, and data-driven decisions. The manager will work collaboratively across the entire Pharmacy Services team in the development of future reports and go-to-market programmatic services.
Essential Job Functions
Provides strategic oversight and operational accountability for account price parity assurance program, contract price verification program, and failure-to-supply surveillance to members
Manages a team to provide business analytics and decision support for key program activities and provide ongoing spend/value reporting
Develops and leads team functions in business services, communications, technology, and analytics with final offerings to both internal stakeholders and external members
Participates in the pharmacy supply chain program team's strategic planning, preparation, and report development
Promotes quality improvement, process optimization, and data-driven decisions
Contributes to the business by maintaining a strong knowledge of the services, supplier capabilities, market trends, and technological advances
Leads a team of program coordinators to support both data compilation and analytical output for defined areas and AHP program services
