Our Infusion Oncology Pharmacy department is expanding due to continued growth, and we're excited to add new team members to support this momentum! We're seeking motivated individuals who are eager to contribute, collaborate, and grow with our evolving team!

Reporting to a Regional Director of Pharmacy-Infusion Operations at UCLA Health, the Pharmacy Manager - Ambulatory Infusion Operations provides operational oversight for multiple Ambulatory Infusion Pharmacy sites within an assigned region. The role serves as the Designated Person or Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for assigned locations and ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of IV rooms in accordance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.

You will manage a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing leadership, support, training, and guidance to ensure optimal performance. In addition, you will develop and implement policies and procedures to support the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of medications to patients. Responsibilities also include monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of medications and supplies and conducting regular audits and inspections of IV rooms to ensure adherence to regulations and internal standard operating procedures. The position also addresses and resolves patient or staff complaints and concerns related to IV room operations while collaborating with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and resolve operational issues.

Annual Salary Range: $144,400 - $341,800 (Commensurate with experience and aligned with internal equity)

We're seeking a strong, independent leader with a current California Pharmacist license and:

  • PharmD degree
  • Ability to serve as a Designated Person and/or Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).
  • 1 year Leadership experience
  • 2 years of Sterile Compounding (Hazardous Drugs) experience
  • Ability to set priorities, which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
  • Skill to work independently and follow-through on assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with sensitive and confidential information using discretion, professionalism, and good judgment.
  • Ability to travel between infusion locations for supervision and quality assurance. Ability to operate automobile with appropriate licensure and insurance.
  • Proficient in EPIC - Preferred
  • Prior California PIC Experience - Preferred
  • Prior Oncology Experience - Preferred
