• The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (40 hours/week)
• On-site position
• This position is a temporary assignment ( ~15 weeks ) with potential to convert to FTE
• Worksite: Louisville, KY 40219

• Pick and pack individual prescription orders for direct-to-patient shipment
• Follow on-screen prompts to ensure orders are picked/packed according to program specifications
• Fold and pack paperwork with prescriptions to prepare orders for shipping
• Sort orders by store location and place into totes for shipping
• Assist with shipping/warehouse tasks (including loading product into trucks)
• Maintain a continuous workflow to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment
• Comply with policies, procedures, and SOPs
• Follow HIPAA and pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Recognize issues and escalate to management as needed
• Must be willing to work mandatory overtime when required to complete daily workload

• Pharmacy Assistant certification
• Ability to lift/carry 20–25 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a repetitive, production-style environment
• Once hired, employees will be required to obtain a KY Board of Pharmacy Technician License ( at their own expense — $25, reimbursed )
• Reliable transportation to/from work

• Assisting with the flow of prescriptions through the pharmacy
• Restock the pharmacy picking areas
• Remove discontinued medication from pharmacy return bin and return to pharmacy
• Perform general pharmacy and facility
• Maintain pharmacy files and inventory
• Supervise clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• Provide support on the new pharmacy software
• Return all expired items to the pharmacy
• Ask appropriate questions in regards to pharmacy counseling
• Send a report on the status of the pharmacy
• Participate in on-call responsibilities of the pharmacy department
• Assist pharmacy staff in a range of supportive duties consistent with goals, policies and procedure of the pharmacy
• Maintain a high level of accuracy on consumer insurance information
• Participate in professional pharmacy organization(s) at the local and national levels to be aware of pharmacy developments
• Notify pharmacy team members when there is a waiter and track the progress of the prescriptions in workflow
• Act as a resource for pharmacy technical and professional staff
• Process more than 10,000 orders per day
• Assist pharmacy staff in a range of supportive duties consistent with goals, policies and procedure of the pharmacy
• Assist the pharmacist with providing safe and appropriate pharmacy services
• Report 2 times per day on status of pharmacy
