Your future role at a glance:

Location: Pensacola, FL

Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola

Department: Pharmacy Services Inpatient

Schedule: Day Shift | Full Time | 40 hrs/week | Temporary

How you'll make an impact in this role:

Provide pharmacy services and technical support under the supervision of a Pharmacist, as allowed by the Board of Pharmacy.

  • Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems, subject to Pharmacist verification and final check.
  • Fill medication carts on a daily basis, subject to Pharmacist verification and final check prior to dispensing.
  • Assist in order preparation and maintenance of inventory for the pharmacy department.
  • Repackage bulk medications, subject to Pharmacist verification.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Education:

  • Enrolled in a pharmacy technician certification program OR an Ascension associate participating in a
    pharmacy technician training program within 7 days of hire/transfer.
