Clinical Pharmacist – Central Pharmacy Services (Day Shift Contract)

You will support a state central pharmacy operation that delivers pharmaceutical and clinical services. This is a closed-door pharmacy located outside of the facilities it serves.
Assignment Details
Contract Length: 26 weeks with extensions likely
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 40/week
Location: Waupun, WI
Interview Process: Phone call with recruiter then On-site, in person with manager
Core Responsibilities
Review medication orders for safety, efficacy and appropriateness
Assess patient medical histories and allergy profiles
Provide clinical guidance on complex therapies
Support warfarin management, antimicrobial stewardship and MAT programs
Compound IV medications as required
Consult with providers and healthcare staff on medication-related questions
Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations
Preferred Background
Experience in closed-door, institutional or high-volume pharmacy environments
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured workflow
Familiarity with Cerner systems is a plus
