A growing mail order pharmacy specializing in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and natural health products seeks a Staff Pharmacist for a contract position with potential for direct hire. This role is centered on dispensing vitamins, supplements, and other natural remedies, focusing on hands-on pharmacy work rather than computer tasks.
Location:
Schedule:- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 3 days per week (30 hours total)
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately pull, count, and fill medication orders
- Collaborate with pharmacy technician responsible for non-sterile compounding tasks
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and patient safety protocols
- Maintain clear, organized workspace to support efficient order processing
Desired Qualifications:- Valid Michigan Pharmacist license with no disciplinary actions
- Experience working in a pharmacy environment
- Familiarity with non-sterile compounding highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
