Pharmacist - Travel Job

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Utah.
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
• Experience with Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS, BD Pyxis, and VigiLanz preferred.
• Experience managing pharmacy technicians. Candidate will work alone with a technician for portions of the shift.
• Familiarity with Pyxis and CII-safe processes required.
• BLS or ALS preferred but not required.
• Minimum 6 months of pharmacist experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in clinical consult services such as anticoagulation, vancomycin monitoring, TPN, and insulin management.
• Experience supporting high-acuity services (NICU, ICU, OR, ED, behavioral health, trauma center) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to use VigiLanz for intervention management.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2100–0700.
• Schedule pattern: 7 on / 7 off (consecutive days).
• Pharmacy staffed 24 hours with one night staff pharmacist; candidate will collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other pharmacists as scheduled.
• Documentation systems used: Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS, BD Pyxis; VigiLanz.
