We are seeking a motivated customer-service-oriented Licensed Pharmacist to join our high-volume pharmacy team. This is a PRN position designed to provide coverage as needed. Candidates should have a flexible schedule with regular Saturday shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving energetic clinic environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Fulfill all clinical and retail pharmacy functions ensuring drugs are dispensed safely accurately and in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Patient Care: Provide expert consultation to patients regarding prescription medications non-prescription products and medical devices.
• Operational Support: Assist with ordering products inventory management and supporting pharmacy initiatives to stimulate growth within the clinic and retail sectors.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain effective controls against theft or diversion ensure accurate record-keeping in the data processing system and submit relevant information to the Controlled Substance Database in a timely manner.
• Team Leadership: Provide education and training to pharmacy technicians and interns delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Facility Management: Execute opening and closing procedures including securing the facility and managing alarm codes.
• Customer Excellence: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints with a professional action-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in pharmacy R.Ph. or Doctor of Pharmacy PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic compounding is required. Experience with PioneerRX pharmacy management software and independent retail operations is highly preferred.
• Licensure: Must hold a current unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Utah.

Hours

• Monday-Friday 8:30-6:30
• Saturday 9-1
