In this key role, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing many types of pharmaceuticals to fulfill orders in the inpatient pharmacies. You may float between medication reconciliation and inpatient pharmacy departments to ensure seamless and efficient medication management. You will collaborate closely with other members of the healthcare team to help prevent inappropriate or misuse of medications.
Adhering to departmental policies and procedures, you will deliver a wide range of clinical services, including:
• Pharmacokinetic dosing • Therapeutic interchange • IVPO conversions • TPN • Pharmacy pharmacist interventions

We are seeking a dedicated clinical professional with a PharmD. degree and current CA Pharmacy license required. ASHP-accredited residency preferred. 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience preferred. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through skills. Knowledge of and ability to perform age-specific and disease-specific pharmacokinetic calculations. Ability to compound intravenous admixtures and other sterile products.
