We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Travel Outpatient Pharmacist to join a community-focused health center for a 13–26 week assignment. This role is ideal for pharmacists who are passionate about improving access to care in underserved populations while enjoying the flexibility and benefits of travel assignments.
The pharmacist will play a key role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care in an outpatient setting, working collaboratively with providers, nurses, and care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and adherence
Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy
Support chronic disease management initiatives (e.g., diabetes, hypertension)
Maintain proper medication storage, inventory, and recordkeeping
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and organizational policies
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Active Pharmacist license in the state of assignment (or ability to obtain)
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent
Minimum 1–2 years of outpatient or retail pharmacy experience preferred
Experience in community health or underserved settings is a plus
Strong communication and patient counseling skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
Duration: 13–26 weeks, with potential for extension
Housing: On-site housing provided (fully furnished)

Schedule: Day shifts; limited weekends/holidays depending on site needs
