    Description

    We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our Georgetown Pharmacy team! Our Pharmacist is responsible for filling and dispensing prescribed drugs in a healthcare facility environment. The Pharmacist is also responsible for transferring prescriptions, handling incoming physician calls, logging data into the computer, and Drug Utilization Review. This position must maintain professional working relationships and provide excellent customer service across all levels of the organization.

    A Day in the Life of a Pharmacist may look like this:

    • Formulate, recommend, implement, and monitor the provision of pharmacy services and resource utilization for all pharmacy
    • Compound and dispense prescribed
    • Maintain inventory at respective pharmaceutical
    • Provide high-quality patient care, information, assistance and counseling or referrals to appropriate
    • Verify all prescriptions are safely and accurately dispensed at the pharmacy
    • Answer drug information questions and perform consultation services for patients and Lone Star Circle of Care employees
    • Extract pertinent information from patients, or other sources and apply them to the patient's medical management plan
    • Prepare and maintain required records
    • Supervise site support staff at pharmacy location
    • All other duties or responsibilities as assigned

    We ask our Pharmacist to possess a minimum of:

    • Current State of Texas Registered Pharmacist license (TSBP)
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

    The following experience/skills are preferred:

    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience
    • Proficiency with EMR system
    • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills
