We are seeking a Ph.D.-level Organic or Polymer Chemist to join the R&D Product Team at our Midland, MI center, focusing on polymer formulation, synthesis, processing, and characterization.
Key responsibilities include developing technical knowledge, designing experiments, analyzing results, and communicating findings effectively. Hands-on laboratory work, especially with condensation polymerizations and polyurethanes, is essential.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Organic or Polymer Chemistry, strong organic chemistry fundamentals, experience with polymerization and characterization techniques, and teamwork skills. Knowledge of fire science is a plus.
