Position Overview and Responsibilities:
This is a professional position with a high level of responsibility. This position assists with the administration of the Department's Employee and Labor Relations program functions to include disciplinary actions, grievances, arbitration, predetermination conferences, unemployment assistance appeals, discrimination complaints, collective bargaining issues, ADA Accommodations, Drug Free Workplace compliance, preventive measures associated with violence in the workplace, intermittent involvement with the Employee Assistance Program as well as related rules, policies and procedures. This position:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
At least five years of verifiable related experience in employee/labor relations and the principles of personnel administration. Post-secondary degrees may be used as an alternative for the required years of experience on a year-for-year basis. A credential evaluation report from an approved agency must be submitted along with all foreign degrees.
Position of Special Trust Requirement:
This position is designated as a Position of Special Trust in accordance with DEP Directive 422, Positions of Special Trust or Responsibility. Successful completion of background screening will be required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess an ADA Certification or ability to obtain.

Salary for the position is $52,530.
