Personnel Security Specialist/Officer – TS/SCI with CI Poly
 
Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a TS/SCI CI with CI Poly cleared Personnel Security Specialist/Officer to join our mission-driven team. This role supports the oversight and accountability of day-to-day Program security operations to include Personnel, physical, IT, Program Security and Security education. Responsibilities:
  • Review SF-86 submissions for accuracy, completeness, and required documentation
  • Ensure all government-required forms and security documents are obtained and properly submitted
  • Upload case documentation into government systems and request clearance actions or cross-clearances. Candidate is responsible for submitting all nomination packages for both employees and subcontractors to the government.
  • Tracks submissions, receipts, approvals, and deadlines in government system.
  • Validate clearance status, SCI eligibility, and polygraph requirements
  • Interface directly with government security representatives and Corporate Security staff.
  • Manage personnel clearance processing, visit authorizations, indoctrinations, debriefings, and IC badge control 
  • Support Continuous Vetting requirements and security reporting compliance in coordination with Corporate Security staff.
  • Maintain accurate Program clearance tracking, staffing rosters, and personnel security records
  • Maintain government issued and returned NDAs for all cleared personnel.
  • Ensure proper classified markings and handling of all documents
  • Coordinate directly with Government PERSEC representatives to support access authorization
  • Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
  • Candidate will provide security guidance and recommendations to the Program Management Office staff in support of program requirements.
  • Provide Program Clearance and SCI briefing/debriefings to employees
  • Ensure all Program training requirements are completed and property record.
  • Ensures personnel are aware of the reporting requirements such as foreign contacts, travel, and financial hardships.
  • Assist Program Management Office with audits, government required reporting and credential management as needed.
Minimum Responsibilities:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly
  • 3+ years DOD/IC personnel security experience
  • HS diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3-years' experience.
  • Experience reviewing SF-85/SF-86 for completeness and experience in the background investigation process.
  • Knowledge of SEAD 3 reporting requirements, SEAD 4 guidelines, Federal Investigative Standards (FIS), and ICD requirements
  • Understanding of Trusted Workforce 2.0 and Continuous Vetting (CV)
  • Familiarity with polygraph processing and eligibility requirements
  • Experience maintaining PII, clearance rosters, briefing, and government security systems
  • Strong understanding of classified markings and document handling requirements
  • Experience with a minimum of 3-year experience of disciplines of security in physical, ICD SAPF/SCIF construction, technical security, personnel security, operations security, and Background Investigation operations.
  • Ability to work within a SCIF up to 75% of the time and as needed
  • Experience with DISS, NBIS, eQIP, and Scattered Castles.
  • Sound judgment and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with project teams, consultants, clients, and government representatives.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and exhibit discretion relating to business and personnel matters.
