PERSONNEL SECURITY POLICY ANALYST-JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Support the development, review, and coordination of DoD personnel security and vetting policies.
Prepare policy memorandums, briefing materials, staff packages, and executive-level correspondence.
Research and analyze personnel security policies, regulations, and directives to support leadership decision-making.
Provide policy guidance related to personnel vetting, background investigations, adjudications, and continuous evaluation programs.
Coordinate with DoD organizations, military services, and government stakeholders on personnel security initiatives.
Participate in working groups, meetings, and special projects supporting personnel security programs.
Develop reports, white papers, and presentations for senior leadership.
 

 

Requirements

5+ years of experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community personnel security programs or policy initiatives.
Knowledge of personnel vetting, investigations, adjudications, and continuous vetting processes.
Experience drafting, reviewing, or coordinating policy documents, memorandums, or executive correspondence.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with senior government leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Familiarity with DoD personnel security policies and procedures.
