Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to join our Integrated Holistic Medical Physical Therapy, Chiropractic team! As a Medical Rehab Tech, you will prepare for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival. You will be providing routine medical support (taking vital signs, noting the patient's subjective statements, and assisting with initial patient intake, case management, and keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure coordinated treatment compliance and quality patient care. You will also be helping manage and monitor physical therapy patient treatments, setting up machines and testing equipment, and cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, experience with personal training, and exercise, or is a former college or high school athlete. You will also have an interest in learning more about a working medical environment and have previous office experience. 


Responsibilities 
  • Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
  • Help manage and monitor physical therapy patient treatments
  • Clean the office, medical instruments, and equipment after use
  • Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying patient needs
  • Assist nurses, medical doctors, and chiropractors with basic medical care and procedures
  • Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
Qualifications
  • Certification or Certified Personal Trainer desired
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Physical ability to demonstrate and monitor physical rehab therapy exercises
  • Strong attention to detail
