Job Title: Group Fitness Trainer (The Camp Transformation Center - Costa Mesa)
Job Summary: We're seeking a highly energetic and experienced Group Fitness Trainer to lead our high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and strength training classes. The ideal candidate will design and deliver engaging, safe, and challenging workouts for large groups, while providing exceptional guidance on proper form and technique. Key Responsibilities:
Design and lead innovative, high-energy group fitness classes (HIIT and strength training) for participants of varying fitness levels.
Ensure proper form and technique among members, providing corrections and modifications as needed.
Foster a positive, motivating, and inclusive environment that encourages member engagement and retention.
Develop and implement new workout routines and programs to keep classes fresh and exciting.
Conduct fitness assessments and provide guidance on goal setting and achievement.
Collaborate with other trainers and gym staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Maintain a safe and organized workout space, adhering to gym policies and procedures.
Requirements:
National certification in fitness training (e.g., ACE, NASM, NSCA).
Experience teaching group fitness classes, preferably HIIT and strength training.
Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, and proper form/technique.
Excellent communication, motivation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
