Job Summary
Established independent insurance agency in the Absecon, NJ area is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager / CSR to support an active and growing personal lines book of business.
This role is focused primarily on client service, account management, and policy servicing rather than heavy outside sales. The office handles a high volume of walk-in and inbound client activity, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with customers in a fast-paced agency environment.
The position includes servicing existing accounts, assisting clients with policy changes and coverage questions, and helping cross-sell auto insurance into an established homeowners book.
Responsibilities
- Service and manage existing personal lines accounts
- Handle policy changes, endorsements, renewals, billing questions, and coverage reviews
- Cross-sell auto insurance opportunities within an existing homeowners book
- Assist walk-in and inbound customers
- Maintain strong customer relationships and follow-up
- Work directly with carrier partners and agency leadership
- Process day-to-day account servicing activities within AMS360
- Support a busy office environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
