The Law Offices of Steven H. Heisler, LLC is growing and we are seeking an experienced personal injury paralegal to join our team. 


Responsibilities Include:

• Summarizing medical records/creating medical chronologies.
• Keeping files organized by monitoring case calendars; documenting actions, and inputting information into case management software (Needles).
• Extensive client contact to communicate case progression and status updates in a professional manner.
• Case development through filing claims, maintaining contact with adjusters, medical providers, other attorneys.
• Obtaining medical records and bills from providers as necessary.
• Verifying all outstanding balances to prepare file for settlement.
• Disputing health insurance and short-term disability liens.
• Ensuring PIP and/or MEDPAY is processed and exhausted.
• Preparing demand packages for settlement
