The ideal candidate will have strong litigation and negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality client service.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from pre-litigation through settlement or trial
Communicate with clients regarding case progress and strategy
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and demand packages
Conduct depositions and attend hearings, mediations, and trials when necessary
Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
Work closely with legal assistants and support staff to ensure cases move efficiently
Maintain accurate case documentation and meet all court deadlines
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
2+ years of personal injury experience preferred (litigation experience is a plus)
Strong negotiation and litigation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
Strong attention to detail and organization
