Personal Injury Attorney — Sherman, Texas

Snellings Law | In-Person | Full-Time

We only do one thing: help injury victims. We're really good at it, and we're always trying to get better. That's why we're looking for an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our Sherman, Texas office.

The Role

You'll handle personal injury cases from intake through resolution. That means client relationships, strategy, litigation, and when it comes to it, trial. You won't be handed a playbook and left alone. You'll be part of a team that talks through hard cases, pushes each other to improve, and genuinely cares about the people we represent.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience managing PI cases through the full lifecycle
  • Litigation and trial experience you're proud of
  • The ability to carry a caseload without dropping the ball — on cases or on clients
  • Communication skills that work in a deposition room and a client's living room

Who We're Looking For

We hire for culture first. Every person on our team shares these qualities — and we mean every one:

  • Lifetime learner — curious, always improving, never the smartest person in the room by choice
  • Humbly confident — you know what you're doing and you're still willing to be told you're wrong
  • Service-minded — we do monthly community service projects. This isn't optional.
  • Team player — your win is our win. No lone wolves.
  • Accountable — you own your mistakes, understand them, and move forward stronger
  • Comfortable being uncomfortable — growth doesn't happen in your comfort zone

The Honest Part

You need to hit the ground running. There will be a learning curve, and you will make mistakes just like everyone does. What we can't work with is someone who isn't a self-starter, deflects blame, or stops pushing once they get comfortable. If you want a place where you can coast, this isn't it. If you want a place where your work genuinely matters and you'll be challenged to become better at what you do — keep reading.

Why Snellings Law

  • We do one thing and we do it well — no dabbling in other practice areas
  • A team that invests in each other, not just the caseload
  • Monthly community service (we make this a priority, not an afterthought)
  • A culture where your growth is taken seriously
  • Your advocacy for clients is valued and rewarded

How to Apply

Send your resume and a cover letter. The cover letter is not optional — applications without one will not be reviewed, full stop.

Your cover letter should answer two things:

  1. Why are you a great fit for this role?
  2. What specifically in this posting resonated with you?

Be direct. Be yourself. Be creative if that's you. We read every cover letter that comes in — make yours worth reading. Email your cover letter to Alyssa@SnellingsInjuryLaw.com

Compensation:

$110,000 - $130,000 yearly with bonus compensation package

Responsibilities:

Still reading? Good. Here is a general breakdown of what you would be doing in your role:

  • Manage personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement or trial.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, case analysis, and strategy development.

  • Handle all aspects of discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document review.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters, defense counsel, and other parties.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and guidance.

  • Effectively update and complete tasks in FileVine, our case Management Software.
