RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, positioning, ambulation, and the use of mobility aids while following proper body mechanics and safety procedures.
  • Assist clients with meal preparation, feeding, hydration, and special dietary requirements as directed.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishwashing, vacuuming, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Remind clients to take medications as prescribed (medication reminders only, unless otherwise authorized by state regulations).
  • Observe and report changes in the client's physical, emotional, or mental condition to the supervising nurse or care coordinator.
  • Assist clients with exercises and range-of-motion activities as directed by the care plan.
