Personal Care Assistant

We are looking for a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for the remainder of the 2025 school year!

Location: Perkasie, PA 18944

Position Details:

• Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:50 PM

• Student Assignment: 1st grader with Autism

• Type: Contract until the end of the school year

Responsibilities:

• Support a student in meeting academic and behavioral goals.

• Provide necessary modifications and physical assistance to help the student access school facilities and curriculum.

• Adapt teaching materials as needed.

• Report to the Supervisor of Special Education and the Building Principal.

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience working with students with behavioral needs.

• Familiarity with Autism and behavioral management strategies.

Pre-Employment Clearances/Paperwork:

• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)

• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)

• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)

• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB Test)

• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)

• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)

• CPR/First Aid Certification
