Personal Care Assistant (PCA)– Premium Evening or Night Owl Program – Sherwood Oaks

 

Cranberry Township, PA - Hourly, Non-exempt; Full-time 3 - 11:30 PM or 11 PM - 7:30 AM with every other weekend

 

Premium Program Rate: $20.75/hour+ $500 Sign-On Bonus

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA)provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLS). All resident care is provided in a manner that meets the resident’s physical, mental and psychosocial needs and enables the individual to attain and maintain the highest practical level of functioning.

Requirements for thePersonal Care Assistant (PCA):

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required or active registry status on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide registry.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with both residents and team members.
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork.
  • Experience in Senior Living preferred.
  • Experience in memory care (dementia or Alzheimer’s) preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience preferred.

From a quiet, humble beginning as the Presbyterian Home in January of 1928, Presbyterian SeniorCare has emerged as western Pennsylvania's largest provider of care and services to older adults (Pittsburgh Business Times, January 2012).
