Position Summary
SOS, Serving Our Seniors is seeking caring and dependable Part-Time Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team.
If you have a passion for helping seniors maintain their independence while making a meaningful difference every day, we'd love to meet you. This position provides one-on-one, non-medical care in clients' homes, allowing you to build lasting relationships while working a flexible schedule.

What You'll Do
As a Personal Care Assistant, you may:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders
- Help clients safely transfer and ambulate
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands
- Assist with grocery shopping and other household errands
- Support clients living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia
- Observe and report changes in a client's condition
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with the care management team
- Help create a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, PCA, Home Health Aide (HHA), CNA, or similar role preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and assist clients with mobility as needed
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Flexible scheduling
- Day, evening, weekday, and weekend shifts available
