JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school graduate or certified equivalent; Completion of CNA certificate with current GA license

Licensure: Certified Nursing Assistant state of Georgia; current CPR certification

Requirements: According to the Personal Care Home Guidelines, staff must receive training in, CPR, Emergency evacuation procedures, medical and social needs and characteristics of the resident population, resident rights and receive a copy of the Long Term Care Abuse reporting act within the first sixty (60) days of employment.

Experience: Previous experience with geriatric residents desirable

                                                                                           

Skills: Must have sincere desire to work with geriatrics and possess knowledge of medical and social needs of geriatric residents. Must demonstrate ability to follow instructions and use proper body mechanics. Must demonstrate effective time management skills, show caring friendly attitude and support the values of our organization.
