Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working with sales, engineering, and operational managers to ensure timely preparation of permit packages
  • Primarily performs administrative work at a branch level for ordering permits and coordinating inspections, closing out permits. Administrative role.
  • Submit permits to municipalities and coordinate revisions as necessary
  • Monitor progression and status of permits to help team plan installation schedule
  • Coordinate paperwork and applications with outside consultants as needed
  • Act as a liaison between the company and each municipality to obtain inspections
  • Maintain all company files relating to site plan applications, approvals, licenses, permits, and registration
  • Monitor and inform team of changes in permitting requirements and processes
  • Assist the team in other administrative and operational capacities as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of permitting experience required
  • Experience with Electrical companies, home services, or construction preferred
  • Desire to learn and grow
  • Strong organizational and management skills, ability to prioritize and take initiative
