What You’ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery
  • Attend and manage high-risk deliveries in collaboration with OB and perinatal teams
  • Deliver patient-centered care for a daily census of approximately 9–11 patients
  • Work in a Level III NICU and LDR couplet care settings
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neonatology providers and advanced practice clinicians
  • Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory teams as patient acuity grows
  • Participate in the development of clinical protocols, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
  • Maintain strong communication with hospital leadership and staff
  • (Optional) Consider moonlighting opportunities across Virginia

What You Need
Required
  • Board-certified in Neonatology (or eligible/appropriate board status as required by the facility)
  • Experience as a neonatologist (experienced candidate preferred as described)

Preferred
  • Comfort collaborating in a multidisciplinary NICU environment
  • Experience helping develop and implement clinical protocols and quality/safety initiatives
  • Interest in program growth and expanding NICU services
