Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide compassionate, high-quality care across multiple hospital settings in Jacksonville, Florida. Key Responsibilities:- Neonatal Care Delivery: Provide expert care in Level II NICUs and normal newborn nurseries, managing stable neonates with a focus on safety and positive outcomes.
- Delivery Attendance: Attend delivery rooms to assist with neonatal assessments and immediate care (transport responsibilities are not required).
- Hospital Coverage: Cover shifts across four hospitals within Jacksonville:
- St. Vincent’s Health System (two facilities)
- HCA Hospitals (two facilities)
- Flexible Scheduling: Engage in a full-time schedule with a balanced mix of 16-24 hour shifts designed to promote work-life harmony.
- Autonomous Practice: Operate with a high degree of independence, supported by in-house neonatology coverage and on-call backup.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including:
- 6 Neonatologists
- 1 Pediatrician
- 16 Advanced Practice Providers
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of neonatal care.
Qualifications:- Current valid Nurse Practitioner license in Florida.
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification (NNP-BC preferred).
- Minimum of [insert number] years of experience in neonatal intensive or nursery care.
