365 Healthcare is seeking an experienced Medical Director of Hospital Medicine for a permanent leadership opportunity in Syracuse, New York. This role offers the chance to lead a dynamic hospital medicine program within a respected community-focused health system while maintaining a balanced weekday schedule.

Schedule Model

• Monday – Friday
• Day shift schedule
• Approximately 40–50 hours per week
• No weekends
• No on-call responsibilities


Position Overview

• Full-time Medical Director role
• Combination of leadership and clinical oversight
• Focus on hospital medicine operations, quality, and performance
• Collaborative work with executive and physician leadership teams
• EMR: Epic


Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Hospital Medicine team
• Oversee inpatient care delivery and provider performance metrics
• Drive quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and clinical protocols
• Support physician recruitment, retention, and mentorship
• Collaborate with administration on strategic growth initiatives
• Promote best practices across hospitalist services

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary: $325,000 – $350,000
$25,000 sign-on bonus

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• New York license or willingness to obtain
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience
• Acute care leadership experience strongly preferred
• Clean malpractice and license history
• NPDB Self-Query required
• Experienced candidates only (not open to new graduates)
