Performing Arts Center Technician

Reports directly to: Performing Arts Center Director

Performing Arts Center (PAC) Technicians assist in the setup, execution, and closing of events held in the MHS Performing Arts Center and assist in the ongoing upkeep and upgrade schedule of the Performing Arts Center.

Essential Functions:

• Setup and closing of staging and show elements including platforms, tables, performer chairs, music stands.
• Setup, operation, and closing of technical elements including microphones, lighting fixtures, and video equipment.
• Operation of Lighting and Sound control equipment necessary for PAC events. Including basic preset-based touchscreen operations as well as full console control of lighting and sound when necessary.
• Operate presentation software such as, but not limited to, Google Slides, Powerpoint, and Qlab.
• Work with the PAC Supervisor to facilitate client needs in the lobby, box office, and green room spaces.
• Assist in the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of PAC spaces.
• Other industry/venue-relevant duties as assigned by the PAC Director.
