Responsibilities

The Performance Improvement Coordinator assists director with in the coordination, development and implementation of the quality/performance improvement program for Cedar Ridge and Bethany. Coordinates notifications to leadership, data/report receipt, and prepares for Quality/Performance Improvement meetings and other meetings. Takes meeting minutes as assigned. Provides educational support to all facility departments with regard to quality improvement, accreditation standards and other regulatory standards. Prepares and participatesin routine and regulatory chart audits. Assists director in monitoring regulatory compliance on an ongoing basis, maintaining a constant state of readiness for regulatory audits. Assists with risk management functions as needed.

Key Requirements:
  • One to Two years of experience in healthcare performance improvement and/or healthcare administrative coordinator experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, healthcare or other related field required
    • Relevant experience in direct healthcare performance improvement experience maybe considered in lieu of degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills and computer proficiency required
Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital (a UHS facility) Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and residential treatment services for youth ages 5-17, as well as inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for adults ages 18+. Our treatment programs provide a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate treatment plans for our patients. Cedar Ridge is a behavioral health facility that encompasses a 206-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center on a beautifully wooded campus with a stocked pond, school, gym, outdoor courtyard and playground. Qualifications

  • One to Two years of experience in healthcare performance improvement and/or healthcare administrative coordinator experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, healthcare or other related field required
    • Relevant experience in direct healthcare performance improvement experience maybe considered in lieu of degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills and computer proficiency required
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
  • Mental health experience preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Successfully complete a drug test
  • Successfully pass a national background check
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior
