Seeking a skilled Retail Pharmacist to provide urgent backfill support in Phoenix, AZ. This per diem role offers an opportunity to work primarily on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, assisting in a busy retail pharmacy environment using the Pioneer Rx system. The pharmacy team includes one pharmacist and three technicians, managing a script volume under 100 prescriptions daily.
Responsibilities include accurately filling and dispensing medications prescribed by providers while verifying patient allergies to ensure safety. The pharmacist will also address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in line with organizational policies, maintaining high standards of customer service.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and clear Pharmacist license in Arizona
- Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with retail pharmacy systems, preferably Pioneer Rx
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
