    As a successful candidate, you will:

    • The radiology nurse preps and assesses patients, assists with anesthesia induction, providing patient education including discharge instruction.
    • The radiology nurse will assist in coordinating the patient''s schedule to ensure that all procedures are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Addresses the psychosocial needs of the patient specifically in regards population specifics and acts as educator and resource person to patients and their families.
    • Complies with all safety procedures in operating equipment and applies principles of radiation safety in all radiological activities.
    • This position requires flexibility to accommodate varying patient''s needs. This is a full-time position working 4/10hr.
    • 1 shift a week and possible Saturdays. The shift is days and hours are 10-hour shifts starting between 10am - 11am.
    • Evening Shift Differential: $2.75

    Your qualifications should include:

    • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in nursing is required.
    • Three to five years related experience.
    • Current California Registered Nurse License
    • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
    • Current ACLS certification from American Heart Association
    • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate or Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate (Must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
