The Orthopedic Surgery Service at Vassar Brothers Medical Center proudly joining Northwell is seeking to add a board-certified per diem Physician Assistant to join its team. This position will be scheduled for 12-hour day coverage with overnight 12-hour call from home and weekend coverage.
Qualifications
• The qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be NCCPA certified as well as possess strong surgical and patient management experience. • Candidates with at least one to three years of surgical experience and/or surgical residency trained candidates preferred, but new graduates will be considered as will new nurse practitioners with RNF certification and surgical experience.
Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a 365-bed facility that has served New Yorks Mid-Hudson Valley since 1887. Overlooking the beautiful Hudson River in the city of Poughkeepsie, NY, Vassar has established centers of excellence in cardiac services, cancer care, and women and childrens health services. This is an extraordinary time for the hospital with new ACGME-accredited residency programs. Additionally, a new state-of-the-art patient pavilion which features all private rooms.
