Job Summary
Seeking a senior Systems Analyst with extensive experience supporting and administering PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 HR/Payroll environments. The role involves providing advanced Level 2 support, troubleshooting complex system issues, performing configuration changes, supporting integrations, managing security, and collaborating with business and technical teams across a large enterprise environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced Level 2 support for PeopleSoft HCM HR/Payroll modules.
  • Troubleshoot system, configuration, integration, and data-related issues.
  • Perform functional configurations, system enhancements, and change management activities.
  • Support interfaces, APIs, Integration Broker, and middleware integrations.
  • Manage security, workflow configurations (AWE), and data integrity.
  • Participate in project initiatives, upgrades, fiscal year-end activities, disaster recovery testing, and major incident management.
  • Develop functional design documents, conduct testing, and support production deployments.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior analysts and end users.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
 
Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have)
  • 15+ years of experience with Texas State policies, federal labor laws, and PeopleSoft technologies (Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQL/SQR, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects).
  • 12+ years of PeopleSoft system configuration, production support, batch processing (RMJ), ERP security, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy environments.
  • 10+ years supporting PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 HR/Payroll, Texas public sector agencies, Tier 2 Service Desk operations, project coordination, strategic planning, fiscal year-end activities, major incident management, disaster recovery, audit support, vendor management, and ERP data synchronization.
  • 8+ years of expertise in FMLA compliance, Approval Workflow Engine (AWE), and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
  • 3+ years of experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and best practices.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting legacy statewide financial systems.
  • Prior experience in large-scale Texas government ERP environments.
  • Deep knowledge of PeopleSoft tools including PUM, Fluid UI, Elastic Search, and Change Assistant.
