Our Client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a PeopleSoft (FSCM) Techno-Functional Consultant for their New York, NY/ / Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage end to end delivery of complex PeopleSoft Financials programs ensuring all phases from requirements through deployment are completed on schedule within scope and aligned with organizational priorities Coordinate cross functional teams across finance technology operations and vendor partners to drive consistent execution of program milestones while maintaining transparent communication on status and risks
  • Define and maintain an integrated program plan covering modules such as General Ledger Payables Receivables Projects Procurement Billing Cash Management and Asset Management to support cohesive solution design Oversee solution design activities for PeopleSoft core functionality ensuring that configuration customizations and integrations align with standard practices and respond effectively to stakeholder needs
  • Monitor day to day progress of multiple workstreams tracking dependencies assumptions risks and issues to ensure timely resolution and continuous delivery of high quality outcomes Drive alignment between finance stakeholders and technical teams by facilitating workshops walkthroughs and reviews that clarify expectations and confirm the suitability of proposed PeopleSoft solutions Review key deliverables including functional specifications technical designs test plans and deployment runbooks to ensure that People Tools configurations and custom code changes are well documented and auditable Collaborate with database and SQL specialists to validate that data models queries and performance tuning activities support reliable reporting reconciliation and transaction processing across PeopleSoft modules Ensure that PeopleSoft Security models are consistently designed to enforce appropriate access controls segregation of duties and regulatory compliance while simplifying user role maintenance for operations teams Partner with business process owners in areas such as Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Billing Cash Management and eProcurement to prioritize enhancements and defect fixes based on measurable business value Guide testing strategies including system integration user acceptance and regression testing to confirm that new features and fixes operate reliably across PeopleSoft modules and upstream or downstream applications Coordinate cutover planning and post deployment support to minimize disruption for finance users while capturing lessons learned to refine program management practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Track and report program performance through metrics such as defect density cycle time budget adherence and stakeholder satisfaction to provide clear visibility to executive sponsors and governance forums Champion adoption of delivered PeopleSoft capabilities by supporting training plans user guides and communication strategies that help finance teams leverage new automation controls and reporting Qualifications Possess extensive professional experience working with PeopleSoft Financials modules including General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Billing Cash Management Asset Management and Project Costing in large enterprise environments Demonstrate hands on familiarity with People Tools technology and core PeopleSoft functionality enabling meaningful engagement with technical teams when reviewing design options and solution impacts Bring practical knowledge of PeopleSoft Purchasing and eProcurement processes to ensure that procurement workflows approvals and supplier related controls are optimized for efficiency and compliance Apply strong experience in managing customer contracts and related billing scenarios within PeopleSoft to support accurate revenue recognition invoice generation and downstream financial reporting Leverage solid understanding of database concepts and SQL to interpret data models analyze issues and collaborate with database professionals on performance troubleshooting and reconciliation activities Exhibit a proven background delivering complex application programs with a minimum of ten years and a maximum of fourteen years of relevant experience in enterprise scale finance and technology environments Display strong communication analytical and stakeholder management capabilities to align diverse expectations resolve conflicts constructively and support successful adoption of delivered solutions
