Responsibilities:

This is a brand-new role, and it is the operational heartbeat of People Success at IndeVets. The People Success Coordinator owns the day-to-day execution that keeps every employee supported, paid, and set up to do their best work. Reporting into the PSBPs, the Coordinator turns strategy into lived experience: smooth onboarding, accurate data, fast inbox response, and the small moments of recognition that signal we see our people. 

Onboarding & Offboarding (Full-Cycle Owner) 

  • Own end-to-end onboarding for HQ and Associate IndeVets: pre-employment, paperwork, I-9 compliance and audits, Day 1logistics, and 30/60/90 check-ins.
  • Maintainpersonnel folders and HRIS data; surface onboarding survey themes and flags to the PSBP. 
  • Run offboardinglogisticsand exit interview scheduling; participate in squad and recruiter pipeline meetings. 

HR Operations & Systems 

  • Run intake, tracking, and documentation for LOA and workers' compensation claims; decisions escalate to the PSBP.
  • Process status changes and PAFs; keep employee dataaccurateacross Paycor, Salesforce, and adjacent systems. 
  • Support biweekly payroll validation, AIV points and attendancetracking, andbenefits and open-enrollment logistics. 

Recruiting Support 

  • Run job postings, interview scheduling, initial resume screening, and pre-employment tracking.

Employee Experience & Communications 

  • Triage the People Success inbox: first response, escalation routing to the PSBP, and routine documentation.
  • Run recognitionlogistics(anniversaries, life events, gifts) and engagement program coordination (Pet Spotlight, Music League, and similar). 
Qualifications:

What You Bring to the Table 

Required 

  • 1–3 years of HR coordinator, people operations, recruiting coordinator, or executive assistant experience in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfort with HRIS platforms (Paycor or comparable) and standard productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, e-sign).
  • Strong written communication; you can answer a sensitive employee email cleanly and professionally.
  • Demonstratedorganizational rigor, you can track 30 open items across systems without missing the deadline on any of them. 
  • Comfort handling confidential employee information with discretion.

Preferred: 

  • Experience supporting onboarding, leaves, or recruiting coordination ata previousemployer. 
  • Veterinary, healthcare, ordistributed-workforceindustry experience. 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce as an employee data system.
  • Working toward or holdingaPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP credential.
