Role of a People Partner/Human Resources Manager

Under limited general direction, supports business leaders by implementing human capital initiatives that align with local team goals and broader organizational objectives. Contributes to business success by applying sound people management practices and supporting workforce planning efforts led by senior leadership.

Essential Responsibilities

Offers practical support and guidance to business leaders on people-related matters.

Supports the execution of human capital initiatives to help align team-level practices with broader business objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Collaborates with leaders to understand local team needs and challenges, helping to implement People practices that support business priorities.

Assists in rolling out talent management programs, including performance reviews, development planning, and other initiatives that support employee growth and retention.

Supports workforce planning activities by tracking team-level data, identifying immediate skill gaps, and coordinating with People partners to address talent needs.

Supports leaders and employees through change leadership initiatives by reinforcing communication, offering guidance, and helping to address concerns and transition needs.

Contributes to organizational development activities by supporting engagement efforts and helping to implement team-level improvements in culture and performance.

Helps implement engagement initiatives and shares employee feedback with senior People partners to support a motivated and committed workforce.

Supports the administration of performance management processes, ensuring that goals are tracked and feedback is delivered consistently.

Qualifications

4+ years related management experience in human resources preferred.

Possession of a high school diploma or GED.

Bachelors degree preferred.

HR related certification preferred.

Technical and professional principles, practices, laws, applications and programs in position related area including expert knowledge of a human resources theory and practice. Knowledge of JD Edwards, or other HRIS systems.

Ability to leverage strong business acumen and strategic thinking to drive informed decision-making and organizational success.

Experience in fostering strong relationships with a people-first approach through effective communication and emotional intelligence.

Demonstrated agility in adapting to changing priorities and solving complex problems with creativity and efficiency.

Ability to interpret and analyze data and key metrics to uncover insights, guide strategy, and measure performance.
