Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree. Five years of progressively responsible professional experience in capital project delivery, project management, contract administration, or capital budgeting is required. Additional experience in capital project delivery, project management, contract administration, or capital budgeting may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Experience leading a public-sector capital project management office or an equivalent organization is preferred.

The PMO Division Director 2 is the senior executive leading the Project Management Office (PMO), which is responsible for the delivery of a capital project portfolio valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars, including multiple flagship projects of significant scale and complexity serving critical County operations. The role oversees a multidisciplinary team of project managers, licensed architects and engineers, and administrative staff, and is accountable for the delivery of the Countys capital project portfolio managed through the PMO across all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, procurement, design, construction, and closeout. The Division Director engages directly with the Department Director, the Mayors Office, client departments, and other County agencies on portfolio strategy, capital funding, procurement, and major contractual matters.
