The Human Resources Coordinator understands thenecessity ofcomplying withthelaborlawsat all levelsand manages internal processes to ensure complete compliance.Specific ResponsibilitiesAnswers generalPeoplequestionsfrom teammates.Enters new hire information into HRIS and electronically files all documentation for the teammate and the personnel files.Stayscurrentwithbest practiceHRpolicies andmethodsand labor laws at all levels.Communicates with managersaboutnew hire approvals andkeeping employeedocumentationcurrent.Manages current job postings and updates on the Companys website posts various positions to job boards and with community partner agencies.Providespropertyinformation for theteammatecommunication monitors and acts as abackupfor the maintenance and update of the monitors.Recognizesteammatebirthdayson a monthly basisand deliversbirthday gift cardsto managers to distribute to theteammatesthey manage.On behalf of the property handles expressions of sentiment asappropriate incases of births deaths etc. affecting teammates.Completes and returns verificationsof employment forteammatesand responds to unemployment claims.Supports andassistsin various HRprojects and initiatives.Runs basic and standardized reports relating to headcount turnover etc.Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or property manager.QualificationsQualificationsPreviousHuman Resources experience is required.Strong administration skills.Strong attention to detail is essential.Must be able to work independentlywith little supervisionunder pressureandonshort deadlines.Effective communication skills arerequiredit is essential to communicate effectively with and to a variety of people from all areas of the property and departments.Mustdemonstratecomputer literacyusage ofMicrosoft WindowsandMicrosoftOffice Suite.Mustdemonstrateanability to learn and master various software officeequipmentand processes.EducationFormal TrainingAssociates degree or equivalent education preferred.ExperienceAminimum of two years of hotel human resources experience is strongly preferred.Position is full-time onsite in St. Louis MO at 26 per hourAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. 21c Museum Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
