Job Summary
We are seeking a temporary People Coordinator to support the Learn, Connect, Grow, Hub technology initiative in Covina, CA. This role will work directly with the Sr. People Specialist to help coordinate implementation activities, project tasks, communications, and operational support for a large-scale program initiative. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role will partner with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to help keep workstreams organized, support launch activities, and ensure day-to-day coordination needs are met throughout the implementation process.
Job Responsibilities
- Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish
- Support the Sr. People Specialist with coordination and execution of implementation activities for the Learn, Connect, Grow, Hub initiative.
- Track project timelines, action items, meeting notes, follow-ups, and implementation tasks.
- Coordinate meetings, work sessions, and stakeholder communications.
- Assist with project documentation, status updates, and reporting.
- Support technology implementation activities including testing coordination, issue tracking, and launch readiness tasks.
- Partner with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support project execution and follow-up.
- Help monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate concerns as needed.
- Support training coordination, communication activities, and post-launch stabilization efforts.
- Provide administrative and operational support related to implementation activities.
- Assist with multiple workstreams and shifting priorities as project needs evolve.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience
- Two to three (2-3) years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, operations, or implementation support.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with the broader project team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Commitment to unlocking the full potential of our most vulnerable seniors.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Experience supporting projects or initiatives in healthcare or other complex organizations.
- Experience with project tracking or collaboration tools.
- Experience supporting technology implementations, employee programs, or operational initiatives.
- Familiarity with training coordination, communications support, or project coordination activities.
- Healthcare industry experience.
Schedule Notes
M-F days, 40hrs/week. Not entry-level position. HR coordinator, learning development, creating platforms, project planning, and spreadsheet experience preferred. Reports to senior people specialist.
