Position Summary
The Pega Lead System Architect provides technical leadership for the design and implementation of enterprise workflow and case management solutions using the Pega Platform. This role is responsible for defining system architecture, establishing development standards, and guiding development teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions that support mission requirements. The Lead System Architect works closely with program leadership, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions. This role will also design, develop, test, and implement Pega solutions as needed to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Project Lead
- Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, and implementation of Pega based applications and solutions, as well as contribute directly to any phase of the software development lifecycle as needed.
- Define system architecture, class structures, rulesets, and application frameworks within the Pega Platform.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Translate business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design and oversee integrations between Pega and external systems using APIs, REST, SOAP, and messaging services.
- Establish development standards, coding best practices, and Pega guardrails across the team.
- Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews.
- Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance requirements.
- Support system upgrades, platform enhancements, and troubleshooting of complex issues.
- Collaborate with program managers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education recognized accrediting body, or equivalent experience.
- Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CPLSA), Certified Pega Senior System Architect (CPSSA), and/or Certified Pega Business Architect (CPBA). Note : Pega Certifications will be verified through Pega Academy.
- Proficiency in Pega Express
- Demonstrated experience maintaining Pega Guardrail compliance across enterprise implementations.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, enterprise application development, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and implementing workflow and business process management solutions using the Pega Platform.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing technical leadership, architecture guidance, or mentoring development teams.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, or other web services.
- Experience working within Agile or iterative development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Pega architecture, case management, workflow automation, and rules engine design.
- Ability to Obtain and Maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government programs.
- Experience with the Constellation UI Framework
- Experience designing applications utilizing Pega Blueprint
- Experience with cloud-based deployments such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
- Knowledge of related technologies such as Java, JavaScript, or SQL.
- Familiarity with the Pega Community and Expert Circles (especially the Blueprint & App Design circle)
Security Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance is required for this position. Must be a US Citizen.

Overview
OSS is looking to hire New Equipment Trainer for Product Manager Soldier Survivability Equipment. Applicants must have military Airborne, rigger experience. Additionally, these positions assist with New Equipment Fielding, training and logistics accountability of Individual Combat Equipment for DoD units.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and manages all aspects of fielding and training events.
- Develops System Support Packages (SSP) and conducts fielding.
- Develops Training Support Packages (TSP) and conducts New Equipment
- Training (NET)
- Receives, reviews, and ensures all Units schedules for fielding and training events
- are available and correctly reflected in the Unit Master Fielding Schedule
- Ensures all equipment and items are procured to support fielding and training; monitors due in and due out equipment until all requirements are filled and coordinates with installation points of contacts before and during fielding events to ensure installation provide logistics support requirements (facilities, fielding sites, equipment, tables, chairs, unit detailed personnel, Central Issue Facility (CIF) personnel, etc.) are provided.
- Interfaces and coordinates with ASAALT, AMC, MACOMs and receiving units for logistics and training requirements.
- Execute fielding of equipment in accordance with the approved Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP) or Memorandum of Notification (MON).
Required Qualifications, Certifications, Skills and Experience:
- High School/GED and greater than 14 years of relevant experience.
- Or Associates Degree and greater than 12 years of relevant experience.
- Or Bachelor’s Degree and greater than 5 years of relevant experience.
- Certified Trainer with a minimum of six months training time.
Desired Qualifications, Certifications, Skills and Experience:
- Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Certification Level II for Life Cycle Logistics.
- Prior jump certifications/ experience
