As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in relationship-building, outreach, and compassionate engagement with some of Greensboro’s most vulnerable residents. This position is ideal for someone who is empathetic, resilient, community-minded, and passionate about helping others navigate difficult circumstances with dignity and care.
Daytime case management and peer support opportunities are available; however, candidates must be available to work overnight Orange Flag operations from 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM as needed.
Orange Flag operations are activated during extreme heat conditions to support vulnerable community members experiencing homelessness.
