Person with at least one year lived experience in recovery from substance use disorder needed to provide peer support services to individuals in the Piedmont Adult Recovery Court (PARC). Using the shared experience of being in recovery, the PARC Peer Recovery Specialist engages individuals in the recovery process and supports them to improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential. Ability to demonstrate compassion and respect for the inherent dignity, worth, and unique attributes of every individual required. Registration as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist preferred. Must be able to achieve registration within one year of hire. Basic computer skills, valid driver's license, and safe driving record preferred. Salary is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to this position
