The role involves outreach, maintaining records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and serving as a positive role model in the community.
Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and the candidate must pursue a WV Peer Recovery Credential within three months.
Experience includes lived recovery experience of at least two years, involvement with support systems, stable housing, and no recent legal or intensive behavioral health issues. Additionally, one year of work in addiction/recovery, computer skills, transportation, and a valid driver’s license are required.
