Peer Recovery Specialist - Giles Peer Center

The Giles Peer Center is seeking a full-time Registered/Certified Peer Recovery Specialist who would provide non-clinical, person centered wellness focused support to engage consumers and visitors within the Giles Peer Center. The Peer Recovery Specialist position would share their firsthand lived experiences with recovery to inspire hope, increase engagement in treatment and in their communities and support consumers in articulating personal goals for wellness, recovery resiliency and self-advocacy.

• Must have a mental health or substance use disorder that has impacted your life for two years or more and must identify a year in recovery.
• Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist or demonstrated work towards certification.

Starting Hourly Rate: $16.26-Depending on Experience

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
