Pediatric Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Physician – Johnstown, PA

  • Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (In-house), with 24/7 call support
  • Hours/Week: Based on schedule, including on-call hours
  • Employment Type: Per diem/locum
  • License/Certs: PA Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • Experience: Prior NICU experience preferred but not mandatory

Pay & Benefits:
  • Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour (pay package discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide neonatal intensive care for high-risk infants in a Level III NICU with up to 20 beds
  • Participate in high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitations
  • Perform NICU rounds and coordinate patient care for an average of 9-11 infants daily
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient neonatal services, including a weekly outpatient clinic
  • Collaborate with a full-time neonatologist and in-house support team
  • Respond promptly to all on-call emergencies within 20 minutes
  • Document patient care using Epic EMR system

What You Need:
  • Valid PA Medical License and appropriate certifications in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • Experience in NICU care preferred, but recent graduates considered
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to respond quickly during emergencies
